The Miss Universe Organization has unveiled its latest crown, the breathtaking “Light of Infinity,” created by Filipino jewelry powerhouse Jewelmer. Revealed in Mexico City, the crown highlights the Philippines’ iconic Golden South Sea Pearl and showcases the mastery of Filipino craftsmanship. This marks the first time a Miss Universe crown has been crafted by a Filipino brand, bringing the pride of Palawan’s luxury brand to a global stage.
The pageant organization and the Palawan-based homegrown international luxury brand made history by unveiling the newest crown in a ceremony held in Mexico City on November 13, 2024.
Jewelmer crafted the brand-new Miss Universe pageant crown that features South Sea Pearls, the Philippines’ national gem. View the crown reveal here:
The crown is adorned with South Sea pearls—the national gem of the Philippines—and wave-like details embellished with diamonds.
Dubbed the ‘Lumiere de l’Infini’ or ‘The Light of Infinity’ crown, it proudly features a sun-inspired centerpiece with a golden pearl and diamond-filled rays.
“Caressed by the sun’s rays, the sea generously offers us a magical gift — the rare golden South Sea pearl, the National Gem of the Philippines,” the Jewelmer shared on social media.
The Filipino-French jewelry company also highlighted the meticulous process of creating the crown, showcasing the local craftsmanship and artistry—from pearl farmers to master craftsmen.
“A miracle created in 377 steps over five years, this treasure is brought to life by the most pristine environment and utmost human care,” the luxury brand said.
“This precious gem embodies the brilliance of our co-existence with Mother Nature. As long as there is a pearl, there is life shining through every moment,” they added.
“Jewelmer shares this poetic beauty with the world through the Lumière de l’Infini Crown. The pinnacle of savoir-faire, this one-of-a-kind creation was handcrafted by Filipino master craftsmen, utilizing the traditional techniques practiced in Place Vendôme, the center of elegance in France.”
