Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery graduate Mhenrada Kulayan Bandahala topped the board passers while Cavite State University registered the highest passing rate among all schools that fielded graduates in the Midwife Licensure Examination held in November.
Bandahala leads the 1,068 successful examinees out of 2,219 who took the exams administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The Midwife Licensure Examnination covered the following subjects:
- Obstetrics
- Fundamentals of Health Care
- Infant Care and Feeding
- Primary Health Care
- Professional Growth and Development
The Ten Top Notchers in the Midwife Licensure Examination are:

- Lyrica Mae Garcia de Ade (Jose fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery) 89.55
- Rowena Anduyan Buenaflor (Gordon College for Olongapo City College) 89.10
- Nikki Jane Ponsaran Diocena (Integrated Midwifes Association of the Philippines Foundation School of Midwifery) 88.95

Cavite State University (Don Severino Agricultural College) notched the Top Spot in School Performance with 25 or more examinees. The Cavite State University had 24 of its 25 examinees passing the exam resulting in a Percentage Passing of 96%.
Recent board top notchers include PUP and Ateneo in the Psychometrician exams, UP Diliman in the Metallurgical Engineering exams, and UST in the Electronics engineer and Technician exams.
