Can Your Business Be Franchised? GMB Launches CEO Workshop

Franchise experts Armando “Butz” Bartolome and Lyndah Bartolome lead the Franchise CEO Workshop for Filipino business owners.

GMB Franchise Developers has launched the Franchise CEO Workshop, a three-session intensive designed to help Filipino business owners build systems that can scale into franchise brands.

The workshop will run on May 23, May 30, and June 6, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the BDO Equitable Tower in Makati City, with enrollment limited to 12 participants.

The program is co-facilitated by franchise consultant Armando “Butz” O. Bartolome and franchise systems advisor Lyndah Bartolome, bringing together decades of experience in franchise development and operations.

“Your business is great. But a great business that only works because you are there is not yet a franchise. Let us build that system — together,” said Butz Bartolome.

Participants will learn key areas of franchise-readiness evaluation, system structuring, brand protection, and operations documentation, alongside developing the CEO mindset needed to manage a growing franchise network.

The workshop draws from the proprietary methodology of GMB Franchise Developers, a firm that has developed more than 650 franchise systems across industries including food, retail, services, and education.

With only 12 seats available, the program is designed to provide focused, hands-on guidance from both facilitators.

The workshop is open to MSME owners, restaurant and retail operators, service-based founders, and entrepreneurs exploring franchising opportunities, including overseas Filipino investors with existing businesses.

“The best time to franchise your business is when it is already working. The second best time is now,” Bartolome added.
