A legacy that points to the future
The 75 MIFA 2026 recognition celebrates more than individual accomplishments. It highlights the growing influence of Filipino-Americans across communities, industries, and generations, from Los Angeles to New York. Through its honorees, Hall of Fame inductees, and international Honorary Filipino recipients, the initiative recognizes people who continue to bring Filipino stories, talent, and contributions to wider audiences.
The breadth of the list is part of its message. Filipino-American contributions are represented not in one industry alone, but across film and television, music, journalism, business, healthcare, education, design, and community service. Together, these stories reflect the many ways people of Filipino heritage continue to shape culture and public life.
