The Philippines’ last frontier, Palawan, has been named the Top 2 among the year 2020’s Hottest Travel Destinations.
Big7 Travel ranked Palawan as its top pick among “The 50 Hottest Travel Destinations For 2020” list feature published in December 2019.
“Palawan made our list of the world’s best islands for a reason. It feels untouched, with white sandy beaches and tropical jungle.” wrote by Big7 Travel writer Elizabeth Thorn.
Palawan was ranked just behind Budapest, Hungary (1st) and ahead of Buenos Aires, Argentina (3rd).
According to Big7 Travel:

•Statistics and research from various travel polls, booking data and travel industry trends
And, of course, we listened to our audience.”
The result was a fantastic line up of the 50 Hottest Travel Destinations for 2020.

Foreigners have grown a lot to love this quiet province.”
Palawan is getting a lot of recognition on Big7 Travel, a popular site for global travelers. In January 2020 alone, Palawan was ranked Top 11 pick among its “50 Bucket List Places You Need To Visit This Decade” and listed at 36th spot for the “Most Instagrammable Places In The World”.
El Nido in Palawan has also been recommended by Huffpost travel bloggers and experts as one of the “50 Awesome Solo Travel Destinations To Visit In 2020”, ranked 24th.
