The Philippines’ first Filipina Miss Universe, Gloria Diaz, is coming out in the second season of Netflix hit series “Insatiable.”
Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz landed a cameo role as herself in the show about a teenager aiming and being trained to become a beauty pageant title holder.
Diaz, the first Filipina Miss Universe who was succeeded by Margie Moran in 1973, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015, and Catriona Gray in 2018, built up a career as an award-winning actress in the Philippines after her stint on Miss Universe in 1969.
Diaz posted on social media a photo of her and “Insatiable” star Dallas Roberts confirming her inclusion in the upcoming season of the Netflix series.
