The Philippines’ Zone V Camera Club (ZVCC or Zone V) is holding an online photo exhibit and print sale to raise funds for the underprivileged students of Sapang Palay, Bulacan.
The premier Filipino camera club composed of award-winning professional and hobbyist shooters is hosting “Images of H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Prosper and Excel)” an online fundraiser to benefit the children-scholars of Assumption Development Foundation (ADF)
The ongoing exhibit on Zone V’s website features a collection of photos taken by the talented members of the club. The fundraiser started on October 23 and will run until October 31, 2021.
Through the advocacy project, Zone V aims to raise enough funds to provide ten desktop computers and year-long internet connectivity to the foundation’s learning hub, which will help boost the online schooling of over 300 ADF scholars.
All the prints posted for the “Images of H.O.P.E.” exhibit are priced at PHP2,600 each.
The prints can be viewed and ordered online on Zone V’s website.
The Zone V Camera Club, founded in 1978, is made up of Filipino photographers from across the country and from various walks of life.
Established as a foundation in 1995, the Assumption Development Foundation was born to help children in need and break the cycle of poverty through education.
The online art collective of Project Prism also raised funds for art and tech kits meant for public schools in Pasay City while a Visual Poetry art drive launched last year funded learning materials for journalist Kara David’s Project Malasakit Foundation.
