El Nido in Palawan has been recommended by Huffpost travel bloggers and experts as one of the “50 Awesome Solo Travel Destinations To Visit In 2020”.
El Nido is ranked 24th among the “50 places that will surely inspire your wanderlust” for solo travel goals in the Huffpost list released January 10, 2020.
Huffpost’s Caroline Bologna writes about the appeal of solo travel, saying, “One of the most powerful ways to explore a new place is to take a solo trip. From the freedom and flexibility to the stress relief and boost in self-reliance, there are endless benefits to solo travel. And there are many exciting places to make it happen.”

Lonely Planet also named the Philippines among the best places in Asia for solo female travelers.
Huffington Post also previously cited El Nido as one of reasons why you should visit the Philippines.
El Nido in the archipelagic province of Palawan in the Philippines is a haven of white sand and stunning beaches ranked Top 5 in Conde Nast Travelers (CNT) “The 24 Best Island Beaches in the World” and one of the “Best Resorts of the World” in the 2018 edition of Conde Nast Traveler Readers Choice Awards.
Forbes also listed El Nido Resorts among the best that showcase the world-famous charms of the island.
Palawan’s scenery was named one of the top picks of the “Most Instagrammable Places In The World” and the Top 11 pick among its “50 Bucket List Places You Need To Visit This Decade”, both published by Big 7 Travel in January 2020.
