Christi Lynn McGarry placed 1st runner up in the 2015 Miss Intercontinental tilt held in Magdeburg, Germany.
Just two days before the eventful crowning of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, McGarry represented the Philippines in the pageant and took home the best place finish of the country in the tilt’s 44–year history.
This is the second time McGarry competed in the Miss Intercontinental pageant, the first in 2010 when she represented the country after being appointed to substitute for the original local title winner. McGarry actually won the Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific title and brought home the Miss Intercontinental – Asia and Oceania title from the international beauty contest.
The 25-year old beauty title holder again competed in the same pageant this year after winning the Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2015 title.
McGarry is currently a model and DJ in the Philippines. She has been a restaurant manager in New York, California and Bali, Indonesia after finishing her Marketing and Advertising degree from New York PACE University’s Lubin School of Business.
McGarry is a native of Camarines Sur, and was born to a Filipino mother and a Filipino-Irish father.
