Filipino actor and ‘Pambansang Bae’ Alden Richards expressed his love for his hometown, Laguna.
As one of the country’s biggest stars, Richard Reyes Faulkerson, Jr. popular known as Alden Richards amplified his love for his hometown by gracing debut issue of Lifestyle Laguna.
In the interview with the Laguna magazine, the 27-year-old actor said although he was born in Pasay, Manila, “there’s no place like home” as he was “raised all his life” in Laguna.
The 2018 GNP Filipino Pride Icon shared that growing up, his family used to rent a small apartment in a crowded street in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
Before entering show business, he joined several local pageants and earned titles such as Ginoong Santa Rosa 2009 and Ginoong Laguna 2010. Before the AlDub phenomenon hit the country by storm in 2015, Richards has been, in his way, promoting what Laguna has to offer.
