Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has raised over PHP200,000 for the protection of the whale sharks in Donsol, Sorsogon by sending personalized video greetings to fans on Ace Video.

The third Filipina Miss Universe shared in an Instagram post that all the proceeds from her partnership with Ace Video will go toward the non-profit organization World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines’ program for the famous marine animals.

“As some of you might know, I’ve actually been doing video greetings with ACE video. And with the video greeting requests you’ve been sending, I was able to collect 200,000 pesos and as promised, that’s going towards WWF-Philippines,” Pia announced in the video originally uploaded on March 6, 2021.

Pia said that ACE Video also contributed PHP50,000 for a total of PHP250,000 in donations to WWF’s causes.

“So if you have a video greeting request, send them over. We’ll make somebody very happy plus you’ll also be helping towards WWF-Philippines,” Pia added.

You can request a shoutout from Miss Universe 2015 winner Pia Wurtzbach and support the biodiversity efforts of WWF-Philippines through the Ace Video website.

Pia Wurtzbach recently participated in the Earth Hour environmental action.

Aside from WWF-Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach is also a celebrity ambassador for the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).

The Filipina beauty queen continues to support worthwhile causes amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Pia and her team successfully raised more than Php 1 million for health workers and donated personal protective equipment to the Philippines’ frontliners working to fight COVID-19.
