Looking for home delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables that are pesticide-free? You can now order farmers’ harvest online via Homegrown Organics delivered straight to your doorstep.
The Department of Agriculture teamed up with Homegrown Organics, an online shopping site, to bring door-to-door deliveries of farmer’s harvests of organic products as part of its “Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita” program launched in 2019.
Consumers only need to visit their website and expect the arrival of their order within 1-2 days.
“Products in this collection will help farmers especially those that are having a hard time delivering and selling their produce,” Homegrown Organics said on its website.
The online shopping site offers deliveries of Fruits and Vegetables, Chicken, Fish and Eggs, as well as Ready-to-Eat Food, Groceries, Personal Care products and even Plants.
The service covers Metro Manila, Alabang, Antipolo, Bicutan, Bonifacio Global City, Cainta, Caloocan, Fairview, Katipunan, Las Pinas, Libis, Makati, Mandaluyong, Manila, Marikina, Pasay, Paranaque, Pasig, Pateros, Quezon City, San Juan, Sucat, Taguig, Taytay, Tondo, and all areas in between. As well as, Bacoor, Imus, Cavite Malabon, Valenzuela, Angono, and Taytay.
The agriculture department and its private sector partners also launched the “eKadiwa” on May 4, 2020. Consumers only need to visit eKadiwa’s website and select an online store to order goods.
