Actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi has been spreading positive vibes online for reaching ten million subscribers on YouTube by handing out cash gifts, food packs, and scholarships.
The content creator took the unusual way of celebrating her achievement on YouTube vlogging and made a donation to the needy and less fortunate.
The Filipino-Morrocan Marian Al-Alawi, who has topped the list of YouTube digital creators, explained in her vlog entry posted on December 13, 2020, that she opted to celebrate her online milestone in a low-key fashion.
“Guys, itong si Moana (her endearment to her younger sister Mona), alam n’yang hindi kami magsi-celebrate nang bonggang bongga for the million (subscribers),” Ivana explained while having a meal with her family.
“Sinabi ko sa kanya ayoko gumastos nang malaking malaki. I’d rather ipamigay na lang ‘yon kesa mag-ano kami ng engrandeng selebrasyon.”
The 23-year-old decided to just have a simple meal with her family to celebrate her online achievement in gaining over ten million YouTube subscribers.
“‘Yong bumili nang maraming maraming gamit… Alam mo ‘yon, ‘yong ten million na ganito…Mga ganu’n ‘yong ten million celebration. Sabi ko, gusto ko talaga simple lang,” she said.
“Kaya ayoko talaga gumastos nang malaki para sa celebration kung p’wede naman nating itulong sa mga taong nangangailangan ngayon. Kahit nga birthday ayoko din (maghanda), e. Gusto ko na lang ipamigay instead of celebrating (or) doing a party.”
The successful YouTube vlogger also thanked her two siblings for preparing their simple meal.
“Yes, thank you for the simple celebration,” Ivana expressed. “Mas natutuwa ako sa ganito. And after mamimili tayo ng grocery at ipapamigay natin sa mga taong nangangailangan.
“Hindi man ‘to kasing enggrande nu’ng iba na gumagawa ng celebration but it’s our simple celebration, and it makes me happy.”
Right after their simple celebration, she and her team went to the mall to buy food items for ten families who live in the streets.
Ivana personally distributed the Noche Buena packages consisting of bags of rice, canned goods, boxes of chocolates, hams, and assorted fruits to the street dwellers. She also gave them PHP 10, 000 each.
The popular social media personality will also award scholarships to her ten lucky subscribers through the help of the jewelry brand she endorses.
Filipino celebrities have been doing their share to help ease the burden of Filipino people affected by the recent calamities that hit the country in the middle of the pandemic and Christmas season.

Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards also donated food and sanitary packs to the typhoon victims from his online games streaming earnings.
Filipino-American singer and songwriter Apl.de.ap has collaborated with HiFi Kitchen to benefit the typhoon relief efforts in the Philippines by serving family adobo recipe. The proceeds are donated to the Philippine Disaster Relief Organization (Pedro).
