Josie Trinidad, the head of story for Disney’s sequel, “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck It Ralph 2” is a Filipino animator who also does voice acting for at Disney.
Born to Filipino parents who migrated to the United States, Trinidad is credited as the story artist for animation hit Wreck-It Ralph released in 2012.
In Wreck-It Ralph 2, Trinidad led the Disney team in creating a world that has left the video arcade, going into the world of the Internet.
Video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush.
Trinidad is credited for being the story artist for Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, and The Ballad of Nessie, among other Disney animation films.
The Fil-Am at Disney was also the voice of the Zootopia landlady, Wreck-It Ralph’s Jubileena Bing Bing, and an additional voice for Big Hero 6.
Josie Trinidad’s Wreck-It Ralph 2 started screening in theaters worldwide on November 21.
