World boxing champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is gearing up for his World Boxing Association (WBA) Welterweight Super World Championship title fight in the United States.
The 8-Division World Champion and currently Senator of the Philippines is scheduled to leave the country today to continue his training camp in Los Angeles.
The 40-year-old Manny Pacquiao battles for the unified welterweight crown against the 30-year-old Keith Thurman in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pacquiao started sparring and training in Manila in early June. Good News Pilipinas interviewed Manny Pacquiao and his team during a break from Pacman’s Manila training at Elorde Gym.
The boxing senator and training team talked about their view of his training for the upcoming boxing fight on July 20.

(This fight can) prove also that at the age of 40 I can still fight.
