Pinoy pop supergroup SB19 and Filipina dancer Niana Guerrero have teamed up to treat their fans to a crosswalk concert.
The Filipino artists hit the streets of Bonifacio Global City in Manila for a new video collaboration uploaded on Guerrero’s YouTube channel.
Guerrero and members of the P-Pop group Pablo, Josh, Stell, Justin, and Ken dazzled local commuters and fans with dance performances of SB19’s hit songs, including the self-love and empowerment anthem “What?“, the Billboard chart-topper “Bazinga”, and “Go Up”.
In the video posted on March 19, 2022., dancer and social media sensation Guerrero said she was inspired by crosswalk concerts in Hollywood which usually involve dancers and famous acts like Korean-pop BTS performing in the middle of a busy street and leaving as quickly as they can when the light turns green.
Guerrero’s crosswalk concert video with SB19 earlier took the top spot as the No. 2 Trending Video on YouTube and currently has 1,189,021 views as of this writing.
SB19 was also previously featured in one of Guerrero’s YouTube videos. The popular Filipina content creator asked group members to answer “who’s most likely to” questions in a recent video and earlier hinted at a collaborative project with the group after posting photos with them on social media.
Also known as Soundbreak19, the group is the first to be trained under a Korean entertainment company in the Philippines and has been gaining worldwide recognition since the band’s debut in 2018.
SB19 has also collaborated with artists like indie band Ben&Ben and South Korean music producer Ohwon Lee, among others.
