Filipino dance crews A-Kidz, UPeepz, The Peepz, and HQ successfully raised the Philippine flag in the United States at the 2024 World Hip Hop Dance Championships, with A-Kidz and UPeepz declared World Champions while The Peepz and HQ had podium finishes.
The four Pinoy hip-hop dance groups bested the best dance crews from over 55 countries including powerhouses like Japan, Canada, and the USA, securing two golds, one silver, and two bronzes for the Philippines during the competitions organized by Hip Hop International held on August 10 in Phoenix, Arizona.
The award-winning A-Kidz emerged as the world champion of the Varsity division after snagging the gold medal against more than 50 dance crews. They also faced more than 30 teams in the JV Megacrew Division and won the bronze medal.

Two-time world hip-hop dance champion UPeepz, a professional dance group based in the University of the Philippines Diliman, ruled the Megacrew Division for the third time since 2016 and 2017, winning this year’s gold medal by beating 42 other dance groups.

Team Philippines also secured podium finishes in the Adult Division with 2022 World Finalist The Peepz and 2023 World Champion HQ defeating 60 dance groups and winning silver and bronze medals, respectively.
