The Philippines’ University of Santo Tomas (UST) Teletigers standout jungler Michael James “Maykel” Gonzales has been awarded a scholarship to play League of Legends (LoL) for the Harrisburg University of Science & Technology varsity esports team in Pennsylvania, United States.
Gonzales was announced as the new bottom laner of the Harrisburg University LoL team on August 16, 2021.
“Our next addition to the League team is no stranger to the collegiate AND international stage.

The former UST Teletigers player brings with him 9 years of playing experience including his MVP run at the AcadArena National Campus Open (LoL) Tournament in 2020.
Gonzales is one of the 22 esports players granted the Harrisburg University full-tuition scholarship and a housing stipend for the Esports Management, Production and Performance bachelor’s degree program.
