University of Santo Tomas (UST) Magna Cum Laude graduate Neil Kenneth Tamina Mendoza topped both licensure examinations for Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians given this October by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Mendoza ranked first among 2,460 board passers in the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and first among 2,589 passers in the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, and Lucena this October 2019.
Mendoza topped the Electronics Engineer Exam with a score of 92 %, and the Electronics Technician Exam with a score of 94 %.
The board topnotcher graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Electronics Engineering, Class of 2019.
The University of the Philippines – Diliman is the top-performing school with a 97.3 % passing rate in the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination. Holy Angel University ranked second and UST at third both with an 80% passing rate.
Mapua University – Manila is the top-performing school with a 96.99% passing rate in the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination. UST ranks second with 92.55% passing rate, and Polytechnic University of the Philippines at third with 90% passing rate.

Earlier this week, UST also topped the Certified Public Accountant board exams, with UP Diliman as the top-performing school.
In September, UST placed 3rd in the licensure exam for electrical engineers which was topped by the University of San Carlos Cebu at 1st place, and Bicol University at 2nd place.
