University of the Philippines (UP) medicine and agriculture graduates have topped the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) exam results released in November.
University of the Philippines Manila (UP Manila) College of Medicine graduates swept the top 3 spots of the Physician Licensure Examination results released on November 11, 2021.
University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) College of Agriculture and Food Science graduates who took the Agriculture Licensure Examination secured a 100% passing rate which made the state university the lone Top Performing School in the results released on November 18.
UP Doctors
UP Manila graduates took five spots in the medical board exam topnotchers list:
- Ian Gabriel Alparque Juyad placed 1st with an 87.50 % rating
- Jian Kenzo Ong Leal placed joint second with a rating of 87.42 %
- Geremiah Edison Daniel Cosia Llanes placed joint second with 87.42 %
- Michael Brian Del Barrio Alvarez was in joint 6th place with an 86.92 % rating
- Marie Bernardine De La Cruz Caballes was in joint 6th place with an 86.92 % rating
UP Manila ranked second Top Performing School with 78 passers out of 81 examinees, representing a passing rate of 96.30 percent.
University of the Philippines Manila graduates led the 1,677 board passers out of 2,302 examinees who took the test given by the Board of Medicine in Manila and Tuguegarao last October 2021.

UP Agriculturists
The 59 UPLB graduates all passed the Agriculturists examination and led the 1,172 out of 3,927 takers who passed the Agriculturist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Agriculture in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, San Fernando, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this November.
UPLB took seven spots in the topnotchers list:
- Vivian Espique Timple placed 3rd with a rating of 85.50 %
- Kevin Roland Albufera Maranan placed joint 6th with 84.83 %
- Roxanne Capal Siuagan placed joint 9th with 84.33 %
- Ericka Joy Ungcad Ancayan placed joint 10th with 84.17 % rating
- Juner Lima Bondad placed joint 10th with an 84.17 % rating
- Rossel Ignacio Castillo placed joint 10th with an 84.17 % rating
- Jehna Marie Tappa Cordero placed joint 10th with an 84.17 % rating
