TPB Philippines Hosts ‘Pasasalamat’ in Centro de Turismo Intramuros to Celebrate Tourism Success

The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines expressed gratitude to media professionals and content creators at its annual ‘Pasasalamat’ gathering held at the newly launched Centro de Turismo in Intramuros, to celebrate the success of Philippine tourism and its growing global recognition.

The ‘Pasasalamat’ event showcased the achievements of the Philippine tourism industry, including an impressive PhP11.3 billion in sales leads generated in 2024—a 44.8% increase from the previous year.

TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles highlighted the January 27, 2025, event’s significance, stating, “Pasasalamat is our way of recognising the invaluable contributions of our partners in helping us share the wonders of the Philippines. It is through your dedication and support that we have been able to achieve these milestones and inspire travelers to experience our country.”

The Centro de Turismo, with its blend of history and innovation, provided a fitting venue for the celebration. Guests enjoyed performances by Acapellago, who presented modern renditions of Filipino classics, and the Sindaw Performing Arts Guild, which captivated audiences with cultural showcases.

Nograles emphasized tourism’s role in driving positive change for communities and the environment. “Together, we are the storytellers of our nation. As we move forward into 2025, let today’s gathering remind us of the power of collaboration and shared purpose,” she stated.
