Team Philippines struck gold at the 2019 Thailand World Para Bowling Championship.
Jaime Manginga and Francisco Endaco won their gold medal in the Doubles TPB8 event after scoring a total of 2,078 to beat their Malaysian and Thai competitors.
Manginga also picked up a bronze medal in the Individual TPB8 event.
Rammelle Martin and Asian Para Games gold medalist Kim Ian Tan Chi each claimed a silver in the Individual TPB10 division.
Chi and Samuel Matias picked up a bronze in the Doubles TPB10 event.
The Philippine campaign at the World Para Bowling Event ended with an 8-medal haul of 1 gold, 4 silvers, 3 bronze medals for the Filipino para athletes in the competitions held September 16-22, 2019 at the Blu Rhythm & Bowl in Siam Paragon, Bangkok.
Filipino Para Athletes have been steadily gaining recognition in world competitions such as Paralympic Games 2020 Swimming Event Qualifier Ernie Gawilan and Para Table Tennis gold medalist Josephine Medina.
