The SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City is set to open a drive-in cinema at the SM MOA Concert Grounds on Wednesday.
The “Movies By The Bay” outdoor movie theater in Metro Manila will start screening films beginning September 9, 2020, and will be open from Wednesdays to Sundays.
An SM MOA drive-in ticket costs Php 400 and includes regular popcorn, bottled water, and beef franks.
SM DRIVE-IN CINEMA HOUSE RULES
SM Cinema advises a maximum of two persons per vehicle for “the best view,” but will allow up to 4 passengers in a vehicle.
All tickets must be purchased online in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the venue. Please bring your smart device that was used to purchase tickets and the QR code will be scanned at the SM Drive-In Cinema entrance. Only patrons ages 21 to 59 years old will be admitted in pursuant to the IATF Guidelines and Safety Protocols.
ALL OUTSIDE FOOD and BEVERAGES are prohibited. Food items will be available at the venue for food orders. To order, please raise food ordering flag and a server will approach your vehicle.
Only enclosed vehicles with windows (Sedans/Cars, SUVs and Vans) will be allowed entry to the SM Drive-In Cinema with a maximum of 4 pax per vehicle. No motorbikes will be allowed in the SM Drive-In Cinema.
Any vehicle arriving at SM Drive-In Cinema when the screening is ongoing must turn on PARKING LIGHTS ONLY. Once parked, turn parking lights off and keep your handbrakes secured.
SM Drive-In Cinema Staff will direct drivers as to how and where to park.

The Philippines’ first drive-in cinema was opened in July at SM Pampanga.
