The company’s commitment to renewable energy and diversity was also praised. SM operates the Philippine Geothermal Production Company, managing geothermal fields in Tiwi, Albay, and Makban, Quezon, with plans to expand across six more provinces.
Gender inclusivity is a cornerstone of SM’s workforce, which exceeds 130,000 employees. Women make up 63% of its workforce, with 58% holding leadership positions.
