Sitel is opening 1,500 jobs for its new and third site in Tarlac.
Good News Pilipinas learned that Sitel’s expansion in Central Luzon is actually the 16th site of the global BPO company in the Philippines since it set up shop in the country in 2000.
The new Central Luzon site of the Apolinario Mabini Awardee adds to the local workforce currently numbering over 22,000 in Metro Manila, Baguio, Tarlac, and Palawan.
“We are delighted to break ground on the latest Sitel site in Tarlac,” Craig Reines, Sitel Chief Operating Office Asia Pacific, shared. “Tarlac has been a phenomenal location for Sitel over the past three years and still exhibits tremendous growth potential.”
“Since we opened in Tarlac we have made key collaborations in the region,” said Haidee Enriquez, Sitel General Manager – PH Countryside. “From our invaluable partnership with Robinson’s Land Corporation, to the incredible support we receive from PEZA and Tarlac’s local government, to partnerships established with schools and local businesses, Sitel has become an integral part of this community and we look forward to working together even more as we launch this latest site.”
The Sitel Tarlac 3 facility will boast a Modern Filipiniana theme and highlight the latest innovations in workspace technology, design aesthetic, and amenities.
“We are creating a best-in-class facility that our employees can call their second home,” Cher Retirado, Sitel Asia Pacific Project Management Office Director, explained. “We want to create a space where associates can work efficiently, collaborate, and innovate.”
Sitel’s Tarlac 3 site is set to open by late September 2019.
