Multiple award-winning movie Signal Rock bagged its first Best Film Award at the Asean International Film Festival & Awards (AIFFA) 2019 in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
Signal Rock, the film about Intoy who can only communicate with his OFW sister through a phone that can only be used on top of the rock formations in their remote island, had previously won Best Script at the 17th Dhaka International Film Fest.
The brilliant combination of Rodolfo Vera’s writing, Hanoi IFF Best Actor Christian Bables’ acting, and Walk of Famer Chito S. Rono’s directing has brought the movie multiple local and international recognition including its newest citation given in Malaysia on April 27.
