Resorts World Manila and Meralco were voted in the Top 5 of Asia’s Best Public Relations teams at the 2019 PR Awards Asia.
The two Philippine companies were ranked among the 5 Best In-House PR teams alongside groups from China and Singapore.
Resorts World Manila’s Corporate Communications team had also recently received Stevie Awards for their Filipino Pride branding.

Resorts World Manila’s Director for Corporate Communications Joee Guilas says the PR Awards Asia serves as an inspiration.
“It feels good to be named among the region’s best. This will only serve as an inspiration, a motivator for us to strive for even greater levels of excellence moving forward,” said Director Guilas in a statement sent to Good News Pilipinas.
The integrated resort’s Corporate Communications Team is under the Integrated Marketing Department, headed by Chief IM Officer Martin Paz. Guilas heads Corpcom and is ably supported by PR Head Cheryl Favila and a group of young and dynamic PR talents.

Meralco & One Meralco Foundation ‘s Communications Team is led by veterans in the industry: Senior Vice President and Corporate Communications Head of Meralco Alfredo S. Panlilio and One Meralco Foundation’s Chief CSR Officer Jeffrey Tarayao.
Resorts World Manila and Meralco were cited in the latest PR Awards Asia as among “the most outstanding, inspired and successful campaigns, individuals and companies in Asia-Pacific’s communications industry.”
