The walking tour will follow the national hero’s footsteps through the streets of the capital city of Spain and visit the 15 principal locations that made an impact in the Filipino’s life during the Spanish colonial period.
The first-ever virtual walking tour of Jose Rizal’s journey in Madrid is produced by the Philippine Embassy in Spain under the leadership of Amb. Philippe Jones Lhuillier and the Philippines’ National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
The virtual walking tour will premiere live on the embassy’s Facebook page on March 6, 2021, at 12 NN in Madrid / 7 PM Philippine Standard Time.
