Filipinos can now plan their 2025 celebrations and vacations with the release of the official list of holidays in the Philippines. Proclamation 727 and Proclamation 729 detail 20 holidays, including regular holidays, special non-working days, and additional special working and non-working days. Good News Pilipinas has mapped the long weekends, offering opportunities for extended breaks.

- January 1 (Wednesday): New Year’s Day
- April 9 (Wednesday): Araw ng Kagitingan
- April 17 (Thursday): Maundy Thursday
- April 18 (Friday): Good Friday
- May 1 (Thursday): Labor Day
- June 12 (Thursday): Independence Day
- August 25 (Monday): National Heroes Day
- November 30 (Sunday): Bonifacio Day
- December 25 (Thursday): Christmas Day
- December 30 (Tuesday): Rizal Day
Special Non-Working Days:
- August 21 (Thursday): Ninoy Aquino Day
- July 27 (Sunday): Founding Anniversary of Iglesia ni Cristo

- April 17-20, 2025 (4 days)
- May 1-4, 2025 (4 days, with leave on May 2)
- June 12-15, 2025 (4 days, with leave on June 13)
- August 21-25, 2025 (5 days, with leave on August 22)
- October 31 – November 2, 2025 (3 days)
- December 6-8, 2025 (3 days)
- December 24, 2025 – January 1, 2026 (9 days, with leave on December 26 and 29)
Proclamation 727 also notes that the dates for Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha will be announced based on the Islamic calendar and astronomical calculations, as recommended by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos.
Proclamation 729 declared July 27 (Sunday) as a special non-working day to commemorate the founding anniversary of Iglesia ni Cristo.
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has released Labor Advisory No. 16, series of 2024, detailing wage payment rules for the 2025 holidays.
