Team Philippines, composed of Philippine Science High School (PSHS/Pisay) students, extended the country’s 8-year medal-winning streak at the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO). The prestigious annual competition brings together the world’s most talented secondary school chemistry students.

The Filipino team secured two bronze medals and two honorable mentions after a rigorous five-hour laboratory practical exam and a five-hour theoretical examination at the 56th IChO held from July 21-30, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
