The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) is enhancing its Express Mail Service (EMS) operations with new delivery hubs in Manila, Quezon City, Makati, and Pasay City. The new hubs aim to provide faster and more convenient domestic and international delivery services.

Starting January 13, 2025, the EMS hubs in Manila, Makati, and CMEC Pasay will begin operations. The Quezon City hub has been operational since November 2024.

PHLPost explained, “These EMS hubs will provide customers better access, convenience, and savings in transacting their EMS items as these are nearer to their place.” Undelivered items will be retained for seven days, allowing customers to request redelivery or claim their packages without traveling to Pasay.

The EMS Next Day Delivery service optimizes operations in Metro Manila, which handles a large volume of deliveries. Each hub will cover specific areas to ensure cost efficiency, reduce handling, and improve real-time tracking:

  • Quezon City Central Post Office Hub: Caloocan, Malabon, Marikina, Navotas, Novaliches, Quezon City, and Valenzuela.
  • Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) Hub: Pasay, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Parañaque, and Taguig.
  • Makati Central Post Office Hub: Makati, Mandaluyong, Pasig, and Pateros.
  • Manila Central Post Office: Manila and San Juan.

Domestic EMS items posted before the cut-off times of 2:00 PM or 3:30 PM (depending on the location) will be delivered within 48 hours. Items posted after the cut-off will be delivered the next business day.

PHLPost’s EMS service, known as the fastest way to send urgent documents and goods in the Philippines, strengthens the organization’s position in the logistics and e-commerce industry. The agency also leverages its membership with the Universal Postal Union and agreements with 56 countries for international EMS exchanges.
