The Philippines’ National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI.PH) team coaches for international programming competitions are offering free tutorials and practice contests to anyone interested in computer science and programming.
The NOI.PH’s Abakoda 2021 is a series of online programming contests targeted to those who know a little bit of programming, but who have little to no experience in programming contests. All a student would need is a computer and internet connection.
NOI.PH also offers an exclusive bonus for Filipino high school students who can join the NOI.PH Discord server by emailing ask@noi.ph with the name, grade level, and school of the student who will be given the privilege to directly ask for help and make friends with high school students all over the country who are learning and practicing programming.
The Abakoda started on August 28 and will run every Saturday until December 11 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. with live-streamed discussions afterward. The standalone sessions allow anyone to join the series even after it started.
The Abakoda live streams are found on the NOI.PH YouTube channel and on the official NOI.PH Facebook page.
