A better travel experience awaits airport and seaport passengers entering and exiting the Philippines as the Enhanced eTravel System takes effect, reducing the usual multiple form signups on-site to a single QR Code accomplished online.

The unified QR Code simplifies the former clearance system of filling out multiple forms at several checkpoints as required by the Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Immigration, Quarantine, Migrant Workers, and Tourism.

The e-Travel pass also includes the Customs Baggage Declaration Form, Currency Declaration Form, and the Overseas Employment Certificate for overseas Filipino workers. Another key feature is the seaport/cruise form, which simplifies and accelerates the registration process at seaports and cruise terminals.

Launched on July 10, 2024, the Enhanced eTravel System is the result of collaboration between the Bureau of Customs (BOC), the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and the Department of Migrant Workers.

“The system benefits multiple stakeholders by streamlining travel processes and easing airport congestion,” BOC announced.

Here are the steps to securing your free QR Code for e-Travel:
