
The Philippines’ pageant representative, Miko Santos, was named second runner-up at the recently concluded Mister and Miss Teenager Universe 2025 in Indonesia.
The model from San Fernando, Pampanga outshone most male candidates from various countries, securing the second runner-up spot during the coronation night on February 28 in Bali.
Santos also won the Most Sporty and Most Photogenic awards.

Indonesia’s Rafiansyah Iqba won the Mister Teenager Universe title, while Alex Charlton of Australia was named first runner-up.

After the competition, Santos took to social media to reflect on his recent success and express his gratitude to those who supported him throughout his journey.
“Success isn’t just about the accolades—it’s about resilience, purpose, and the impact we create along the way. I am Miko Santos, Mister Teenager Universe 2nd Runner-Up, and I stand as proof that age is never a barrier to making a difference,”_ he wrote in his Facebook post.
“My journey is dedicated to inspiring young individuals to dream boldly, work tirelessly, and be a catalyst for positive change. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible people who stood by me throughout this journey,” he added.

Filipino pageant representatives have been achieving success in Indonesia over the past 12 years.
In 2013, Megan Young won the Philippines’ first Miss World crown when the pageant was held in the Southeast Asian country.
Mark Angelo Avila claimed the Gentleman of the World title in 2019, while Shane Quintana Tormes won the Miss Global pageant in 2022.
In 2024, Ryan Kristopher Sacopon successfully brought home the Mister Culture International title.
