Joshua “The Passion” Pacio successfully defended his ONE Strawweight World Championship belt from fellow Pinoy Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) champion Rene “The Challenger” Catalan as compatriots Eduard “The Landslide” Folayang, Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, Robin “The Ilonggo” Catalan won their respective battles in the ONE: MASTERS OF FATE Thrilla in Manila on Friday.
The Filipino champions headlined the ONE Championship matches held on November 8 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The 23-year-old Joshua Pacio stopped the 6-bout winning streak of the 40-year-old Wushu Champion Rene Catalan in the second round of the main event match
The Team Lakay champion improved his professional record to 15-3 and remains unbeaten in matches held in Manila.
