The nation’s Pinoy-pop girl group BINI, consisting of Aiah, Colet, Gwen, Jhoanna, Maloi, Mikha, Sheena, and Stacey, will hold its first official National Happy BINI Day today, June 11, 2024, to celebrate their third anniversary.
The whole-day event starts at 10:00 AM at One Ayala, Makati City, and is free and open to the public. Some activities such as dance workshops and the BINI hour where fans called “blooms” can catch up with the group, will have associated fees.
BINI is an eight-member girl group formed in 2019 through ABS-CBN’s Star Hunt Academy. The P-pop group officially debuted on June 11, 2021, with their single, “Born to Win,” following two years of training.
The P-pop group recently achieved significant milestones, including over 1 million followers on Facebook and Instagram, 1 million subscribers on YouTube, and 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with their viral hit song “Pantropiko” reaching almost 72 million streams.
Here is the schedule of BINI Concerts to mark on your calendars:
- BINI will be featured in the Philippine Independence Day free concert on June 12 at 7:00 PM, at the Quirino Grandstand, Manila.
- The upcoming BINIverse first solo concerts scheduled on June 28-30 at the New Frontier Theater are already sold out.
- The nation’s girl group will also have a regional concert tour covering Baguio City, Cebu, and General Santos City starting in July.
- BINI will also have a Canada tour: Vancouver on August 9, Edmonton on August 10, Winnipeg on August 16, and Toronto on August 17.
BINI has just launched its official website. According to Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, the site will be used for official announcements of activities and event calendars, exclusive content, live events, and official merchandise of the girl group.
BINI and other P-pop groups headlined the first Tugatog Filipino Music Festival and a benefit concert featuring South Korea’s Red Velvet.
