Good news for students, history enthusiasts, and tourists! Starting January 2025, the National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) will welcome visitors every day of the week.
The museum shared the update on social media on New Year’s Day, January 1, announcing that its central complex in Manila, along with its regional museums across the country, will be open daily—from Monday to Sunday—with free admission.
“The past year has been remarkable for us at the National Museum of the Philippines. So, to start 2025 with a bang, we are delighted to announce that the NMP Central Complex in Manila and our Regional Component Museums all over the Philippines will now be ! !” NMP wrote.
“Universal access has always been our priority. By opening our museums every day and maintaining free admission, we aim to make our programs and services even more accessible to everybody. We look forward to welcoming and serving you all this 2025!” the museum added in the official announcement here:
In 2022, the National Museum of the Philippines in Manila extended its visiting hours to give more Filipinos a chance to learn about the nation’s rich artistic, historical, and cultural heritage.
In 2023, the National Museum of the Philippines-Cebu in Central Visayas opened its doors, showcasing the island’s breathtaking art, local history, and unique flora and fauna.
