The Mind Museum’s custom-built Mind Rover is bringing interactive science and art experiences to children across the Philippine islands. This 12-meter museum bus, equipped with hands-on exhibits, fun workshops, and exciting science shows led by The Mind Museum’s Mind Movers, is traveling to different communities to promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning.
As part of its commitment to making science accessible to all Filipinos, The Mind Rover operates free of charge and is supported by The Mind Museum’s partners. The first stop of its journey under this initiative was in Bacolod.
The Mind Rover is designed with sustainability, featuring solar panels to power its ventilation and other systems. The bus also includes exhibits highlighting environmental awareness, such as the climate crisis and the planet’s responses to human activities.
Maria Isabel Garcia, Managing Director and Curator of The Mind Museum, shared her excitement about the project, saying, “We are so thrilled to partner with 2GO for The Mind Rover. The 2GO team has been exceptional in its authenticity and readiness to support inspired science and art learning that it was like fireworks when we set out to agree to do this together. We are very grateful to the 2GO Group for this partnership which would impact many communities.”

2GO, a logistics solutions provider operating in 19 ports across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, has partnered with The Mind Museum to support this initiative. Ethel Concepcion, 2GO Group Head of Corporate Marketing, emphasized their shared mission, saying, “Partnering with The Mind Museum to bring the Mind Rover to provinces across the Philippines—one island at a time—represents our shared passion in inspiring and enriching the minds of our youth.”
The partnership exemplifies a shared vision of sustainability and education. Mercy Dionisio, Sustainability Officer of 2GO, remarked, “The character of the Mind Rover resonates very well with the sustainability thrust of the 2GO Sustainability Program 2GO Earth, and we believe that all hands should be on deck for us to sail towards better tomorrows.”
The Mind Rover is part of The Mind Museum’s efforts to expand beyond its physical location in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), promoting inspired learning through science and the arts for communities nationwide.
