University of the Philippines student Frederick Tacla has rebuilt iconic structures of UP Los Banos (UPLB) in the Minecraft world.
The UPLB Industrial Engineering student posted on social media the photos of his work which he says he built in 3 days during his spare time.
“Kung merong Minecraft version ang UPD, meron din ang ELBI!” wrote Tacla on his April 19 Facebook post.
Good News Pilipinas reported about the UP Diliman Minecraft world created by Architecture student JB Cunanan as a tribute to his university, which included the iconic Oblation and the Administration building, the AS building, Carillon bell tower, protest actions, and even the Faculty Center before it burned down in April 2016.
Good News Pilipinas talked to Fred Tacla in a chat interview and asked about his UPLB Minecraft world.
“Plano ko po kasi dati na gawin yung world pagkapasok na pagkapasok ko sa UPLB last 2015 pero I ended up just building the large scale oblation statue dahil masyadong malawak ang UPLB and wala akong masyadong free time.
Then last week, may nakita akong article about sa minecraft version ng UP Diliman. Since Holy week naman, nagtry rin ako na gawan ang UPLB,” shared Tacla.
Tacla has videos of his other Minecraft creations on YouTube, the Republic of Union Islands.
