The Philippine Mathematical Olympiad (PMO) is the oldest and most prestigious nationwide mathematics competition among secondary school students. It is the breeding ground for the country’s representatives to the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
Every year, countries participating in the IMO send six representatives for the annual world championship mathematics competition for high school students.
Last year, Team Philippines bagged four silver medals and two bronze medals in the 62nd International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) organized in St. Petersburg, Russia.
