LA Talk Radio’s The Polished Woman show host, Jessica Rodriguez-Bunevacz, has marked its first year on the air with an American Telly Award for the show’s web series.
Jessica Bunevacz’s show was named Best Scripted Web series in the Online section of the 40th annual Telly Awards that honors video and television made for all screens.
The Telly Award Judging Council, a group of leading video and television experts from some of the most prestigious companies in entertainment, publishing, advertising, and emerging technology, awarded The Polished Woman with a Bronze Telly.
The Los Angeles radio show draws on Rodriguez-Bunevacz own experiences from her colorful life in the Philippines before migrating to the United States. The award-winning radio host was known locally as a live mannequin, model, actress, talent manager, and television host. Her proudest project was called “Miss Ugly No More” where women were taught how they could feel and look their best.
Jessica is also the first-time author behind the book, “Date Like a Girl, Marry Like a Woman: The Polished Woman’s Guide to Love, Romance, and Sex” where she applied the rules of dating to life after marriage.
Jessica Rodriguez-Bunevacz is on-air over Telly Awardee “The Polished Woman” on LA Talk Radio Mondays at 1-2pm. Her youngest daughter with athlete-husband David, model Breanna, will join her as guest co-host for the month of August.
