Kapuso drama actress and entrepreneur Kris Bernal finally received her YouTube Silver Play Button Award after gaining more than 100,000 subscribers on her channel, and has promised to give back to her fans.
The StarStruck Batch IV alumna started creating video content in the middle of 2019 to share her travel adventures, make up tutorials, fashion tips and showbiz life to her supporters.
In her social media post last on January 24, the actress-vlogger shared her selfie photos while holding the plaque she just received. Kris expressed how thankful she is for the support she has been receiving from her followers she addressed as SHE-zums.
“So crazy to think that in two months my YouTube channel has already reached 100k subscribers,” Kris said on her post. “I’m so humbled by your support SHE-zums as I’ve worked hard over the past months creating contents on how it is to be a “One Woman Team”.
“Thank you for tuning in considering my inconsistency in uploading videos. Kailangan ko lang po talaga ng maraming oras at pahinga.
“Kapit lang, SHE-zums! This is not just a piece of metal. This is my blood, sweat, passion, struggles, and sleepless nights. Thank you for appreciating.”
Kris also shared that she handed over her first YouTube earning to an organization that focuses on animal welfare as her way of giving back to the community.
“I actually donated my first YT income,” the actress recalled. “Wala pa akong 100k subs noon pero naisip ko ibigay ko na lang sa isang animal welfare organization.
Now that she has her YouTube Silver Play Button Award, the Kapuso actress has something special for her subscribers.
“So, to give back for having me surpassed 100k subs, I have something for you on 02.05.20, and it’s something you haven’t gotten yet!”
Just few days ago, another GMA Network star Sofia Pablo received her YouTube Silver Play Button plaque for also reaching 100K subscribers on her channel.
In December 2019, multi-awarded Kapamilya actress and celebrity chef Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo got her YouTube Gold Play Button award after gaining 1 million subscribers on her online cooking show, Judy Ann’s Kitchen.
Filipino internet superstar Mikey Bustos and actress-fashion icon Heart Evangelista received their respective Gold Play Button plaques from YouTube in August 2019 after hitting the 1 million subscribers mark.
