Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, the Queen of Philippine Soap Opera, has begun her new role as host for the local docudrama “Paano Kita Mapasasalamatan?”, a show about stories of kindness and gratitude.
“Paano Kita Mapasasalamatan?” features people thanking the angels and heroes in their lives in a bid to spread that bit of kindness further during these tumultuous times by showing how kindness changes people’s lives for the better.
The pilot episode on the Kapamilya Channel last June 13, 2020, starred actress Iza Calzado, who opens up about her own troubled childhood and how her relentlessly loyal companion and kasambahay, Donna Garcia, stayed by her side when she was battling COVID-19.
In turn, Garcia shares about a couple who had helped her in the past after a tragic accident. The couple then gives thanks to a dear family friend, who furthers the cycle of kindness with a message of gratitude of his own.
Santos-Agoncillo presents how kindness helps people, saying, “Kahit hindi ka mayaman, hindi ka kumikita ng malaki, sapat lang ang kinikita mo, makakatulong ka e’, kasi ang kindness goes in long way and I will always say na kindness is free, kung may isang bagay na libre sa mundo at masarap ibigay, ito ay ang pagmamahal at ang pagiging mabuting tao.”
“Paano Kita Mapasasalamatan?” can be viewed on the Kapamilya Channel on SkyCable Channel 8, TFC, iWant, and other viewing platforms.
Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo is among the Filipinas YouTubers who are spreading positivity by making inspiring content online.
Iza Calzado shared her COVID-19 recovery story to help patients battle the stigma and recently donated blood to aid research for the treatment of coronavirus disease.
