Jollibee is opening its first restaurant in Spain in Calle Arenal, one of Madrid’s busiest thoroughfares.
The homegrown Filipino restaurant chain is investing €50 million for its target expansion to 5o stores within the next five years in Europe, €10 million of which is going in Spain.
Jollibee’s first Spain restaurant has a dining capacity for 180 guests and features the brand’s store design reimagined for European customers.
Unique to Jollibee Madrid is a double-height dining hall with a full-size palm tree right at the center of the restaurant. It will also feature outdoor seating, takeaway collection areas, digital kiosks to facilitate transactions, and hand-washing stations.
Jollibee Madrid is scheduled to open on September 23, 2021.
Earlier this year, Jollibee opened to long lines for its 1st store in Wales and in London West End.
