ABS-CBN Kapamilya actor Jericho Rosales and friends’ collaborative project on the “Echo”, an eco-friendly tote bag, is helping the world access clean water.
The ABS-CBN television and movie actor first teased on social media in 2019 about his new project with a photo of a bag with his face and said he was going to think about having an official tote bag.
The year 2020 has made it happen finally with Rosales’ tote project in collaboration with his artist friends, photographer Karen De La Fuente and designer-producer Maine Manalansan.
The actor’s shirtless photo taken in Siargao is the feature design of the tote bag they called “Echo” bag from Jericho’s nickname, Echo.
“The bag costs P300 and a portion of the proceeds will go to a foundation of Echo’s choice,” the statement reads on the order form.
“Right now, we’re supporting Waves 4 Water, a non-profit organization helping people around the world get access to clean water.”
The eco-bag itself is already for a cause project itself as it helps reduce the use of plastics.
The eco-bag project-for-a-cause has been receiving huge support, and as of this writing, the site already closed its pre-orders to give way for the production.
Aside from Jericho Rosales, more and more actors are using their celebrity status to help the people and the environment by pushing for their personal advocacies.
