Janella Salvador is set to release a Filipino version of the theme song of the upcoming Disney movie Moana.
The popular actress-singer recorded “How Far I’ll Go” written by Tony Award winning composer, Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Moana is a movie that features characters and scenes from South East Asian culture.
The movie features the voices of Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa’I.
The voice of Auli Cravalho essays the character of Moana and sings the movie version of the theme song.
Another version by Alessia Cara will be in the closing credits.
The Moana theme song will also be released in Indonesian, Malaysian and Vietnamese versions.
