The Founder and Creative Director of Ivie Joy Floral Art & Events based in Astoria, New York in addition to landing the Tony Awards project also provided creative designs for the Broadway event announcing the premiere of Pretty Woman.
Agustin is also the official floral artist for the American Theater Wing.
Agustin has established herself as the go-to set designer/floral artist for renowned fashion photographers and for brand and product launches with her design creations placed in high fashion editorials.
Agustin was selected as the most popular wedding florist in New York by Brides.com with her works published in luxury wedding magazines.
Prior to starting her own business, Agustin was the Floral School Director for Jane Packer. In 2012, Ivie spent the previous two years helping launch a floral design startup.
Upon its inception in 2012, Ivie Joy Floral Arts + Events accumulated numerous awards and accolades, including the Bride’s Choice Award from Wedding Wire in 2013 and 2014, and was published in an issue of The Knot.
She started her floral career as an Assistant Designer at Charles Florals, where she managed the production and staging of floral needs for Kaufman Studios. She was quickly recruited as the General Manager for Flowers On First, at the time the #1 ranked New York retail florist on Google.
In a social media post, Agustin referred to her grandparents whom she considered floral geniuses and provided her inspiration as she watched them maintaining the landscape of their home.
Agustin was a featured Global Pinoy in the recent staging of PH Time Is Now New York where she mentored Filipinos from around the world on being world-class Pinoys.
