Intramuros by night has gone viral after a tweet from Filipino celebrity Kathryn Bernardo about her date with reel-and-real life sweetheart and fellow actor Daniel Padilla went live tonight.
The power couple of Philippine showbusiness, and stars of the top-grossing film “The Hows of Us“, went on an impromptu date after their Christmas party on Sunday night, in what Bernardo says is Padilla’s idea of showing her Manila by night.
The historic Walled City of Intramuros is a popular travel destination with its Spanish colonial period ambiance and structures, including centuries-old churches and museums.
Travelers and residents have recently witnessed efforts to recall the glory of Old Manila in the restoration of the Jones Bridge, the Grand Cafe 1919 of Binondo, and the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex which was recently in the spotlight as the venue of sporting events of the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
