The International Dance Day Fest is set to make a grand return from April 23 to 27, 2025, at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati, bringing together over 1,200 dancers from the Philippines and abroad. Following its successful inaugural edition in 2024, the global dance festival returns for a weeklong celebration, showcasing the finest Filipino and international dance talent.

Celebrate the vibrant spirit of Filipino dance by revisiting how the Bayanihan Dance Company marked its 62nd debut anniversary with a tribute to Filipino heritage.

Now in its second year, the International Dance Day Fest is presented by Ayala Land, Make It Makati, Circuit Makati, and the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, with support from Ayala Corporation, the British Embassy Manila, and the British Council.

The Samsung Performing Arts Theater will once again host the five-day dance festival as Circuit Makati continues to establish itself as a cultural hub in the metro.

This year’s festival will feature over 1,200 artists from various local and international dance groups and companies, representing a wide range of genres—from traditional folkloric dances to urban beats, classical ballet, contemporary movement, and even para dance, an inclusive discipline that blends dance with wheelchair accessibility.

Get inspired by world-class Pinoy talent and watch how Filipino dance crews A-Kidz and UPeepz were crowned World Hip Hop Dance Champions.

The festival committee, consisting of Ronnie Mirabuena (Chief Culture & Arts Officer, CCP Arts and Education Department & Philippine Folk Dance Society Member), Xernan Alfonso (Master Teacher and Curator, Street Dance Gala & Philippine Folk Dance Society Member), Andrei Nikolai Pamintuan (Head of Arts, British Council), Myra Beltran (Dance Artist, Choreographer, and Founder of Myra Beltran’s Dance Forum), Lisa Macuja Elizalde (Artistic Director, Ballet Manila), Sofia Zobel Elizalde (Founder and Director, Steps Dance Studio), and Chris Mohnani (Managing Director, Samsung Performing Arts Theater and Circuit Makati Arts and Culture Manager), hosted a media launch on March 27, 2025, to unveil the exciting details of the upcoming event.

Witness another proud dance milestone when VPeepz made history as the first all-Filipino junior dance megacrew to compete at Body Rock Junior in California.

In addition to live performances, the five-day festival will feature a dance market and bazaar offering dance paraphernalia, exclusive merchandise, and dance-related gadgets.
