Inasal na Manok, the pride of Bacolod and the Visayas region has topped the TasteAtlas November 2024 update of the Top 100 Filipino Foods, surpassing last year’s winner, Sinigang. Joining the celebrated grilled chicken dish in the rankings are two Filipino favorites: the fiesta dessert Leche Flan and the hearty meat soup Bulalo from CALABARZON.

   Originating in Bacolod, this iconic grilled chicken dish is marinated in vinegar, lemongrass, garlic, and ginger, then brushed with annatto-infused oil during grilling. Its unique golden hue and peppery flavor make it a cultural treasure and an important cultural property in Bacolod in 2022.
2. Leche Flan (4.4/5)
   This beloved caramel custard dessert is a staple at Filipino celebrations. Made with milk, sugar, eggs, and vanilla, it traces its origins to the Spanish-French border and has been cherished since the Spanish colonization of the Philippines.
3. Bulalô (4.4/5)
